How Much Hemp Oil to Give Your Dog, Cat, or Furry Friend
Before you give your pet hemp oil, you may want to consult with your vet to make sure it won’t interfere with other medications your furry friend may be on.
It’s safe to say, that you can start with 1mg of hemp oil per every 10lbs. of an animal’s body weight, once or twice a day. You can drop the hemp oil on top of their food or directly in their mouths. It’s good to start small, and you can gradually increase once a week if you see fit.
Hemp oil itself is non-toxic, and so the most important thing to keep in mind is that “overdosing” will not result in fatalities. The most commonly reported side-effects in animals are sleepiness and over-active appetites.
